Cry Me A River - CHVRCHES Cover

You no doubt know Justin Timberlake's "Cry Me A River"  no matter how old you are, or  whatever your taste in music is. It is also pretty cool to heard it from CHVRCHES!

Enjoy!

Meadowlark - Eyes Wide

After quite a while, here with a very new single 'Eyes Wide' by Meadowlark. Despite its being very new, It somehow sounds pretty familiar.
Meadowlark, releasing their brand new EP Dual on 30 March, has a enchanting and captivating music style with the angelic and airy voice of Kate McGill.

If you are from London, or will be in London next month, you are lucky cause Meadowlark will be playing an album release party on March 24th at Servants Jazz Quarters.
Enjoy!

ICELANDIA - Paper Suns

After their debut single 'Magic' which was released last June, this is the second song we heard from Icelandia. Paper Suns has appeared suddenly on their SoundCloud stream this week, and we loved it with its shinny vocals and catchy synth line.

Enjoy!

Lost In Tundra - Photograph

Lost in Tundra (formerly Tundra) is a London based electronic duo. You might have heard their debut single, Tiger, which was released in early-summer this year. "Photograph" is the second half of Lost In Tundra’s debut single release via Rattle Pop Records.

With its soft synths and wispy vocals, Photograph makes me wanna drive a long road under the sky full of stars!

Enjoy!

Ronya - Work Harder

Following up on her 2012 debut album, Ronya has released two singles this year, ‘Flame’ is the first one, and recently ‘Work Harder which are leading the way for a full length album in early 2015. It could be worth getting our hopes up for judging by these first 80s-tinged alt-synth-pop tastes…

This is what Ronya says about the track:

"’Work Harder’ is a reflection on my journey as an artist and an individual - but most importantly it’s a reminder to myself and to anyone working towards their goals and dreams: keep going no matter what - it’s only the beginning,”

Modest Mouse - Lampshades On Fire (Live)

Modest Mouse is an American based indie rock band formed in 1993 and the group have welcomed several musicians since then. Now the current members are Isaac Brock – lead vocals, guitars (since1993), Jeremiah Green – drums, percussion (with a short break almost since 1993), andTom Peloso – guitars, upright bass, keyboards, fiddle, horns (since 2004)
After their last studio album,"We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank" , which was released 7 years ago, they have just announced a new album for March 2015.

The name of the album has already been listed on wikipedia as Strangers To Ourselves! "Lampshades on Fire" is the first single released by the band recently, and it is just like the Modest Mouse we know! It maintains a lot of the band's core sounds.

Anyway Modest Mouse is Modest Mouse and this song is really enjoyable!

Montgomery - Not Around

After relatively smooth and slow synths, "Not Around" by Montgomery is my favorite so far, and we will be pleased to hear more  from this one-woman!
Enjoy!
